Living in Washington, D.C. for over 15 years, Claire F. Burnham is recognized as being one of the area’s most esteemed hairdressers. Her mindful and artistic approach to hair is appreciated by her diverse clientele which includes media figures, foreign dignitaries, D.C. fashion elites and fellow Washingtonians alike at TODD CHRISTOFARO in Georgetown. Her soft and textured looks were seen on the red steps of the Grand Theatre at the 62nd Festival de Cannes Film Festival, dressing hair for the House of Christian Dior.

For the past five years, Claire has styled hair for the runways of New York Fashion Week. There she worked with renowned French haute fashion hairstylist Odile Gilbert of the Paris agency L' Atelier 68 under the tents of Bryant Park. From 2006 and 2009 she was sought out by Ms. Gilbert to contribute her hairstyling expertise for the House of Chanel during three Cruise Collection shows.
London born and raised, Claire worked with Graham Webb International as Top Stylist /Instructor in the UK and the US. Her career also includes working with some of New York City’s finest in Frederic Fekkai, Alain Pinon and John Barrett at Bergdorf Goodman.
Claire’s understanding of all hair types allows her to create original styles for any texture of hair. In September 2008, the Washingtonian Magazine recommended her for curly hair in their "Good Salons to Try in D.C." article. The July 15th, 2009 edition of The Hill newspaper recommended Claire in it's "Looking for a Haircut?" article.
